The gоаl оf the finаl exаm is tо synthesize the readings, assignments, lectures, and activities in response to questions on the Christian virtues of faith, hope, and love. The goal is neither that you provide verbatim responses from the texts nor give a stream-of-consciousness personal response. Rather, bring together course materials and thoughtful engagement with them to formulate robust responses to the provided questions. A successful assignment will be at least 1,750 words (~350 words per question and an introduction and conclusion). Students will answer the following questions related to faith, hope, and love. In answering the questions, students will describe the nature and context of the Christian faith as expressed in foundational Christian doctrines and creeds. What is the place of love and desire in this vision? What influence might Christian faith, hope, and love have in your selected field of study/potential professional community? Thinking about the theological virtues, what is the relationship between Christian faith, practices, and character?
