THE INNER CONFLICT Augustine hаd mаde the "intellectuаl cоnversion" to Christianity where he discovered that Christian Theism is the most intellectually plausible worldview and he thought it was true. He thought that he was wrong when he believed Mani and later the NeoPlatonists to be right. He had discovered the truth about reality in Jesus. There was one obstacle to keep him from having faith (or "trust in the things we have good reasons to believe are true"). What was it? What kept Augustine from following Jesus (even though he knew Jesus revealed who the person of God is).
