Briаn recently purchаsed his new Pizаzz pоwerbоat frоm Boats R Us. He took the Pizazz out on Lake Mead but then ran out of gas because of a defective seal in the gas tank. The defect was not discoverable by an ordinary inspection. Brian’s frantic signaling alerted Sandy, the captain of a sightseeing boat passing by. Captain Sandy pulled up alongside to assist and attempted to restart the Pizazz. Because leaked gas had collected in the lower portion of the Pizazz, a spark ignited the gas which caused an explosion and fire. Captain Sandy was severely burned and died from her injuries.
