Narrative scenes play out in the detailed paintings that adorn the interior of this arched space. On the far wall is a single scene showing several levels and hundreds of figures total, but one focal point in a figure surrounded by an oval frame in the middle. Many of the figures have golden halos. The side walls each have four different registers of horizontal rows, divided into individual, painted scenes. The bottom row is stylized, geometric design, but the upper three rows are distinct images of figures expressing progressive stages of stories. The top register and ceiling are bright blue, and that blue is carried throughout the rest of the paintings in a more subtle way.

"In this interior scene, a dramatic shaft of light, coming from an unseen source on the right, illuminates the faces hands, and a few clothing details of seven men. Five of them are seated at a table and two are standing. Even in this rather dark scene we can see that their clothing is colorful, mainly reds, blues, and golds. The two standing men seem to be pointing toward a seated man slumped over the far end of the table. Also, one of the seated men is pointing in the same direction with a questioning look on his face.
