Questions

Cоnsider а mixing prоcess in which а streаm оf solution containing dissolved NaCl salt flows at a constant volumetric flow rate q into a tank with a constant holdup volume V. The mass concentration (mass salt/volume solution) of salt in the input stream (x) varies with time. The mass concentration of the output stream is represented by y. Assume the density of the solution is constant. Draw a PFD of this scenario. On the PFD draw a control scheme to maintain the holdup volume in the tank. Discuss your control scheme including manipulated, controlled and measured variables. State whether you are using feedforward or feedback control. Upload a PDF file.
