Yоu respоnd tо the downtown аreа аt 0300 for reports of a "man down." Upon arriving you find a male roughly 50 years old lying on the concrete in front of a business, snoring loudly with his head on a backpack. He is wearing a tank top and jeans that are soaked with what appears to be urine. Your assessment reveals moderate respirations, and when woken up the patient is extremely confused and not able to form a sentence. His skin is cold to the touch, pulse is weak and thready, with PERRL eyes, and blood pressure is hypotensive, indicating potential [shock]. At this point your primary impression should be [altered]. The patient is also [hypothm].   Your next assessment should include [bgl]. Given this scenario, the most important treatment for this patient is [warm], and transport to the hospital.
