Mаtch the descriptiоn tо the micrоscope pаrt.

Yоur friend hаs lоud оpinions аbout online high school аnd no standards for evidence: “It’s obviously better (or worse), everyone knows it. I saw a post and my cousin agrees. Done.” Your friend is confusing a hot take with a real argument. Show them how it’s actually done. In 250+ words, answer: “Is online high school a strong alternative to traditional in-person high school?” Set Them Up (teach the how). In your own words, explain to your friend what makes an argument strong: a clear claim, evidence that’s credible (authority, accuracy, low bias), and reasoning that connects the two. Then state your own claim... your answer to the question. Build Your Case with Exhibit A (credible evidence). The Evidence Bank below mixes reliable and unreliable sources. Choose at least two you trust, explain WHY each is credible, and use them to back your claim. Call Out the Junk (Exhibit B). Point to one source in the bank that’s weak or unreliable, and explain why you’re leaving it out... the source check your friend skipped. Close the Case. Connect your evidence to your claim with clear reasoning, and deliver the verdict your friend should walk away with. Tip: work through each section fully and you’ll clear 250 words easily.
