The room scan should show the entire room, underneath your desk, and your entire workspace or desk surface. You should not have any electronic devices on your desk surface. Your notes should be visible on your desk. You should take the exam in a private and quiet location on a flat surface such as a desk or table (a bed is not an acceptable option). Please set yourself up for success and do not play background noise (TV, music, other people) during the exam. Evidence of the following in the Honor Lock video recording could result in a zero on the exam, a submission to the liberal arts academic integrity committee, and other sanctions including an F in the course and/or an XF transcript notation. The presence of electronic devices (second monitor, cell phone, tablet, earbuds) in the room or on the desk The presence of other people in the room Talking in the background (music, TV noise, other people in the room) Completing the exam in bed or other non-flat surface area A missing or incomplete room scan (room scan should show entire room, under desk, and desk surface) Speaking the questions and answers out loud.
