Clinically the patient may present with nonspecific findings, such as persistent fever in a neutropenic patient whose leukocyte count is returning to normal. Localized pain may also be present. Sono appearance may present as multiple small hypoechoic masses with echogenic central cores, referred to as bull’s-eye or target lesions.
