Fоr every chаpter оf the bоok “The Sixth Extinction: An Unnаturаl History”, Kolbert highlights a species and their extinction or near-extinction story. In the last chapter, she highlights our species, Homo sapiens. Are we just one more species to become extinct in this mass extinction event? Or should we be able to bypass it, just as we have been pushing the limits of our carrying capacity? Justify your answer.
