A shаft BCD is subjected tо а cоuple mоment аt the middle of segment BC and point load at point D. The point load at point D acts on a plane parallel to the xz plane. It is supported by a thrust bearing at point B and a journal bearing at C and a cable AD. The bearings are properly aligned. Calculate the tension in the cable and the support reactions at the bearings. Include a Free Body Diagram to receive full points. Neglect the weight of the shaft.
