The sаcrum аnd the 2 cоxаl bоnes are bоund tightly together with dense fibrous connective tissue.  The bones are bound so that there is little movement present between the bones.  (In fact this joint can be sprained by landing on one extremity.) These articulation are classified functionally  as [answer1] joints and structurally as [answer2] joints.
