Yоu аre wоrking with а 12-mоnth-old child who wаs referred for PT due to concerns of motor development. In your examination you note that the child is not yet crawling or walking. They are able to stand at a support surface when placed in standing with a notable weight shift to the R side. They are unable to transition to standing independently. The child can sit without support. Occasionally they fall in sitting with rapid head movements (more often to the L) or when startled. The child is able to roll both directions without issue, and can press up on hands in prone, with more weight noted on the R UE. You also observe the child can transition into sitting independently by moving from prone to quadruped to sitting, always choosing one direction (over the L hip, pressing more with R LE) to complete the movement. Which of the following interventions would be the BEST for you to focus on in your initial treatments?
